The teaching material We share a sea has been produced by the Ecological Council with support from the Danish Ministry of Education, Tips & Lotto funds and in collaboration with The BERAS Implementation Project (Baltic Ecological Recycling Agriculture and Society).

BERAS Implementation is an EU-funded collaboration between research and educational institutions and various environmental organisations in the countries around the Baltic Sea. The cooperation aims to develop more “Baltic-friendly” farming practices and promote sustainable and environmentally sound development in agriculture and food production as well as consumption in the region.

A number of schools and teachers throughout the Baltic region have already expressed interest in using this teaching material. The textbook is now available in Danish, English and Lithuanian and German, Swedish, Estonian and Finnish editions are on their way. The multiple translations will allow schools around the Baltic Sea to cooperate with each other and exchange ideas and assignments.
